Mounting original bike switches

I'm planning on using the bike switchgear on my car (at least for the time being for simplicity and because I already have them), but alos fitting a paddle shift.

What do people reckon about the chances of passing SVA with an arrangement similar to the one in this piccy: Rescued attachment Menace Interior.jpg

I did mine like this using a suitable diameter clip on (TL1000 in my case) fastened to the paddle shift column thingy
It all fits inside the 127mm exclusion zone

Very neat - I was thinking about putting a joystick type arrangement where the gear stick wuld normally be, but that looks a much neater and SVA friendly solution!
