What will sva man say???

Im using a crossflow with twin 45s. Can i breath the crank straight though a hose and filter or do i need a oil catch tank for the sva?. If i use a catch tank, how do i vent it ?( is a hole in lid acceptable for the sva)

Craig,

I've got a Xflow with twin 40's and I passed my SVA with no catch tank, but i would suggest speaking to your local office (ie the one who's gonna test your car), coz there are plenty of stories within this section that proves its a free for all when it comes to interpreting the SVA rules.

Its a simple job anyway, so WHEN you fail, you can put it in there if the bloke tells you to!
