I was looking at these, the title says
FREE DEL yet theres a delivery charge.

Bound to be the chinese ones that someone has bought a batch of.

Friend of mine bought one about three weeks ago of fleabay.
Seems to work ok but the duty cycle is only around 60% IIRC. Good enough for your average home bloke/girl though.

I've got one of these. Slowly learning with it (I'm no welder!).
Seems to do what it's supposed to in terms of results, and it's got a water cooled torch set-up (needs a water supply obviously),but the foot pedal is crap which is a shame, and the manual is almost unintelligible!
But it's cheap enough and hasn't broken down!
My mate who is a good welder has used it and he got good results from it within a few minutes of using it, with both steel and aluminium.

hmmm, 2 users. can I ask wot you paid? looking the offers made on the set the seller is not accepting less than £ 370.

I think I paid about £475 plus carriage, about 10 months ago. Don't know if it's the same seller though.

I did click the link, the title says FREE DEL, but where in the auction does it says free delivery? It looks like the delivery option is £35, which last time I checked was not free.

edit to add, if you collect in person they'll charge you a tenner.

check out the ac/dc tigs on the german ebay site there not much more than the chinese ones but I think the german build quality might be a bit higher!
