tyres for 415 x 205 rims

Anybody got any advize on tyres for my Merc.alloy 415/205 rims?
I intend to use them on my single seater for occasional hillclimb racing only.
Dont want to spend too much on them tyres though.
I know...i'm a f"#king tight a#"e

So far as I know that's going to be expensive. (in UK at least)



If I was you I might want to change to some more standard size rims for those 112 pcd hubs and look to Maxsport or similar for some economical competition remoulds.

I have no personal experience of them. But Maxsport RB5 had some good reviews elsewhere on this forum, and buying direct from their factory seems to be the most economical way.

my local rubber emporiumtells me its cheaper to buy new wheels and tyres for a metric merc than new tyres on their own
