Fitting Sierra Handbrake Caliper Spring...

Can anyone describe the 'technique' for getting the handbrake (coil) spring on???

Pain ain't they!

I used a cable tie to pull the spring together, undo the retaining bolt until it's nearly out of the thread, then just struggle and push them in using a screwdriver.
