2 piece prop

I dismantle my Cortina yesterday, and am not sure if I need to keep the two piece prop shaft.

I'm fairly sure this one is useless, and I need a one-piece one, but can anybody confirm this b4 I have it removed with the body shell.

Cheers

I ditched my 2 piece prop that came from my donor car as the book says you need a single piece. I then bought a single piece, got it all cleaned and painted and then found out you have to shorten it!
One of the suggestions is you take the end joints off and weld them to a new piece of tube. Since you have to weld together 2 halves of a single piece (to shorten it) you may as well keep the 2 piece!

I *bought* a two piece prop from an Escort van so I hope it's usable! It's still got the same joints as the single piece so I don't see why not.
