Book build brake rebuild

Cortina front brakes, a la book - what Ford designation are they? trying to overhaul them and cant get seals, pistons etc, Ford spares guys deny all knowledge..... were they used in subsequent models? do other Ford callipers bolt straight on?

Gtstuning had some in one of his many posts on here, try doing a search. Our local parts factor still does reconditioned ones on exchange basis so the seals and pistons must be available. I think the designation is type 16 caliper if you want to try somewhere else.

motor factors will hold rebuild kits for ford M16 calipers else PLR do recon calipers for £39

I got my seal kit from Lucas Spares, the lsuk website gives details of nearest supplier. The part number is SP2589
