Brakes - FORD
The front brakes on an Indy - If using for calipers (ford Sierria) can anyone out there tell me the thread size for the hole that the flexi hoses
screws into. Is it Metric or UNF. I need this before I Can purchase my SS brake lines from Raceparts.

The thread on the calipers and corresponding flexy hose is M10x1.0mm
I understand that your standard M10 screw has a pitch of around 1.75mm, so those won't do.
The source of this information is MK and I've recently (yesterday) fitted my own flexy hoses and used M10x1.0mm nuts to fix the hoses to their
brackets

Screw Threads
Ford have advised that the Sierra has all metric threads.
The Sierra hydraulic inlet port will undoubtedly be M10 x 1. This is a Euro standard (brake) fitting.
Standard metric nut & bolt thread is slightly different - M10 x 1.25. So tread (or thread, even) carefully.
