Jaguar SS100 Replica

Apparently

Kinda struggling to see it myself.

And it seem that "ALL PANELS HAND MADE BY SHEET METAL WORKER" (not my capitals.)

Perhaps Ductwork is maybe more his usual sort of gig.

Me too....

What's happening with Ebay? This is the second item that's been blocked for me over here (France).

Quote from the page that appears:
"Unfortunately, access to this particular item has been blocked due to legal restrictions in some countries. We are blocking your viewing in an effort to prevent restricted items from being displayed. Regrettably, in some cases, we may prevent users from accessing items that are not within the scope of said restrictions because of limitations of existing technology. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause, and we hope you may find other items of interest on eBay."

What's that all about then????

So this:

Is supposed to look like this one?

Which is a Suffolk Sportscars replica, so good that owners are allowed to join the SS100 Owners Club.

I consider blocking access a kindness in this case.

You're right old timer. I'd been looking on Ebay to see what criteria resulted in access being blocked.

It's clearly a bad taste filter....

Jaguar SS100!!!!!!!!! ROTFLMAO

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

WTF! Looks maybe (if I was feeling unkind) a bit MG T-ish but SS100? Yikes. What a crock.

We have all had the dream of building a kit car. Sometimes they turn out well, sometimes not. But at least the guy had the dream. (waits for the nightmare jokes)

Steve.

No Steve, you're right.
The guy had an idea and went ahead and had a go. He shoudl be congratulated for having had a shot at it.

Maybe the next one will be designed with a lighter pencil.

I contacted the seller and he adminst there is a mistake in the listing.

It should have read:

quote:
ALL PANELS HAND MADE BY SHIT METAL WORKER
4.2 ENGINE,MANUAL GEARBOX WITH OVERDRIVE
LOTS OF SPARES TO FINISH
CHANCE OF A LIFE TIME TO AQUIRE A UNIQUE CAR.

I AM SELLING THIS CAR FOR MY FATHER AFTER HIS RETURN FROM SPECSAVERS.

Hello,

don't you think it is just a matter of colour.

On the pictures, the copy is unpainted, when the original is painted.

Thant make a big difference.
