Caliper Carriers
I bought a set of these from Rally Design... I knew they wouldn't do the job as they are for a Fiesta fitment, but I wanted a nosey anyway.
Does anyone know if anyone does a Sierra version (I've looked but can't find any).
Finally... what material are these - (goldy-bronze colour).

Steel for the material with a cheap galv coating
Front Brakes:
Ford Sierra discs and calipers. Depending on the Sierra chosen, discs will be 240mm dia. solid, 240mm dia. vented (most common) or 260mm dia.

As a cost effective upgrade for Rushes fitted with 16" diameter wheels and above, DAX can supply adapter plates which relocate the standard
Sierra calipers (240mm dia. vented disc type) allowing them to be used with the much larger, 278mm dia, Cosworth 4 x 4 front discs

Definitely steel, but not galvanized. Galvanizing is hot dipping and is greyer with a cystal pattern...that is plating.

It's zinc plate with a yellow chromate conversion or chrome passivation. It's one of the best ways of protecting steel against
corrosion.
Galvanising is simply dipping the item in molten zinc. Zinc plating is an electrolitic process.

Please check with manufacturer as it could be cadmium plating which compounds are carcinogenic.
I stand to be corrected, but better safe than sorry.

Caliper Mount Brackets
The brackets you picture are to fit Fiesta Mk1 front calipers onto the RWD english axle...it is a cheap mod mainly used in oval racing. The brackets
are mild steel with a gold colour zinc passivate finish,the gold passivate is more scratch and impact resistant than normal zinc plating.
From later posts it looks like you are trying to fit Sierra rear calipers(with integral handbrake) to a Sierra drum brake donor wishbones or a design
based upon that setup...have you considered Rally Design's BK64 kit which uses the Golf Hydra-Mech caliper,240x10 solid discs and ally bolt on
mount brackets,it is cheap only £219.45 + vat for the kit but will only fit inside 14" wheels.
Also I know that Rally Design is making a batch of Sierra rear calipers but won't be available for 4 months.
