noisy facet fuel pump

hi
i fitted my low pressure facet fuel pump yesterday, i'm a little estonished to hear how noisy it is.(it also vibrate)
is just the way they are or is it that is faulty?
brand new, use to feed swirl pot if it matters.

A lot quiter when filled with fuel, and well isolated using bobbin mounts.
