GROUP BUY ALI CATCH TANKS

Evenin' all.

Im looking to buy an Aluminium catch tank, and can get them for £25 posted if i can get another 5 people interested.

If i can get more than 5, then it gets cheaper again for all concerned!

Anyone interested?

The tanks are round, with a drain at the bottom and sight tube on the side.

Kindest Regards,
Richard.

They are round and they are 60mm diameter by 180 high....

Would also be interested.

How many inlets/outlets ? I would need 2 in and 1 out for a filter.

Are they baffled inside, or do they have some sort of filling for the oil to condense on ?

Tom,

Not sure if its deliberate, but this is the second post out of two that youve hijacked around the same subject. Im trying to get a group buy for some kit, and your cocking it up for all concerned.

I agree - especially when the two links are a header tank and a fuel tank when we're talking catch tanks....first mention was fine to throw up an alternative, second is just bad manners.

in which case, this thread probably shouldn't go without mention. posting in this way is doing neither of you any favours in my eyes and reinforces my lack of desire to offer any business that way.

the header tank in the other GB thread looks really good.

can you offer any clarification on the internals of this catch tank or is it just an empty can?
tom

Hi Tom,

Sorry its taken a while, and thanks for the info above to the other threads!!

The header tanks are baffled up from the bottom to half way, and have a hole in the middle. This prevents the switch from chattering. The catch tanks do not, so i understand. Pictures will be here on Monday.
