Front upright identification
Just poking around the car last night (yes I know I'm sad) and I was wondering what my uprights were from. I had assumed they were Escort but
got a pic of my mates Westfield ones that are supposed to be Escort too and they are very different.
Stylus Uprights:
Westfield Uprights:
Any idea if they are both Escort but different years, or if one is from something else?

Your's could very well be an escort upright. The westfields upright is definitely from a cortina.

Escort or Capri was the standard way for Sylvas when he first moved to Ford running gear.
Top chopped off the strut and an adaptor welded on to take the top wishbone.

Didn't the capri upright have a bolt on control arm? Then this must be an escort upright

Defo from an Escort (piccy one)
UNDERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
OVERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall.
TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you.
