Shock points at the ball joint so no bending motion on the lower bone, a common fault due to bad design.

My top top would be to read the very very long thread on here about front wishbones bending - reduce bending loads anywhere and if possible avoid them all together

Next - make a decent jig

Weld carefully - distortion is a PITA.

You can buy ready made tubes for bushes and ready made bungs for both oval and round tubing if you are using rod ends - a lot quicker than making your own.
