Sterling Excel Immobilser

Hi

I am wring in my immobiliser and it states te folloing

Red - perm 12, no problem
Orange - Ignition / Accessor, no problem
Green - earth, no problem
Blue - Starter motor circuit (18A relay used for this circuit)
White - 2nd isolating circuit (18A relay used for this circuit)
Yellow - door pin, leave

Fo the white I am using the fuel pump and the blue I will use the the starter wiring

Do I need to wire these loops into relays for them to work? O can I smply take the appropraite wires from my loom?

Cheers

Mike

i wouldn't use relays as it would be easier for someone to bypass the imobilser.

The immobilizer has the relays in it. I think three rated at around 10A from memory.

That was partly my thinking.

I have seen various posts on the wiring on the net and none mentioned relys, so I shall proceed with how I was going to wire it.

Iirc yellow has to be earthed. I did a lot of playing around with this when setting mine up and originally and was going to add a momentary switch for yellow to emulate the door awitch but it wasn't needed, though earthing it was.
