Prop length, tiger avon.

I have my engine/gbox inplace and prop offered up. My prop is fully engaged with no room for movement in/out. Is this normal on the Avon? I can't move the engine further forward as the alternator will start to catch and theres no room to move the diff backwards. Its a standard type 9, sierra diff, 2.0 blacktop and the prop supplied from tiger.

Hi

When i built a Cat E1 with a silvertop and sierra diff im sure the Tiger prop was supposed to have the splines at the engine end with 20mm showing ?

Hope this makes sense as i presume that the same "principle" would apply, might be worth giving Tiger a call.

I agree when I built my cat there was a few mm showing. Give tiger a call they may have sent you the wrong prop as each model the make has a different length prop.
