Will a 3.0 capri crownwheel & pinion fit a mk 5 cortina axle ??????

What other gearing are you using that with as it will need a fair amount of power to give the acceleration?

Hi Nick,
my engine is a citroen diesel tdi, running through an FSO polonez diesel gear box. Using a gear calculation program, a final drive ratio of
3:10 and running on 14" wheels would give me about the same performance and economy of the BX donor. At present i have a escort axle fitted but
the highest diff ratio seems to be 3.45:1 which is a bit on the low side.
