MK seats and runners *sigh*

I must check some things about the runners and seats from MK

If I measure the distance between the holes in the runners its 330mm, but when I measure the runner fixings in the seats it´s 310mm

Is this how it is for everyone and you just redrill the runners?

Then I probably have to make some 10mm brackets under the runners

That's pretty much what I've done.

I used some 12mm thick rubber washers I picked up at an autojumble as spacers - should take a little of the vibration of of the seat too.

Wouldn't it be nice f a little forethought to these little things was displayed by the manufacturers?

But the vibrations are nice ;-)

Yep - ovalate or re-drill the holes.

Hi Jonte,

There is a mark on the runner which just happens to be the right distance for the hole centers for the seat. Just run a tape along it from one of the pre drilled holes and I'm sure all will become obvious.

Ovalise or elongate

or a mixture of both?

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
