Do you think these would look nice?
20" wheels from the good ole US of A, 285 35 20 tyres!!!!
Originally fitted to a 3.2 Quattro Audi TT Roadster (not original!!). It had been vandalised and tyres slashed, I now have to find a supplier of the
tyres - Bugger! Thank Ron that the wheels were not damaged

They look mint hope your chassis wont ride that high when its finished though Obviously youve only offered them up but is that the right side
wheel? Ie tread direction??? You can pretend to be a gangster rapper now with wheels like that

They probably weigh as much as the rest of the car...
And the tyres will cost as much as the rest of the car....
And the handling will be terrible...
(Just my 2p's worth).
Personally, I'd stick to some nice, light-weight 13" rims...

I don't like them either. As for Ron being elevated to god status I think he might have to go to a few confessions first and say a couple of
hundred Hail Mary's and some benedictus sanctus I can beat you at dominoes. I think we might be able to get him in as a Jedi master at the next
census if we all fill in that we worship at the altar of the great Profit Champion.
P.S. I know it's spelt wrong but it's more fitting.

I wish it was my garage - its a quiet corner of the mech shop at work, right next to the Hunter Computerised 4 wheel alignment system!!
I HATE the wheels, typical brash stateside stuff, but very impressive, they weigh almost nothing, the owner imported them as a one off, looks like I
am going to have to do the same with the tyres! (centre caps are really cheap plastic, more like packaging quality than wheels)

Whew Mark, I'm glad you said you hated them. I was really worried that your taste had been corrupted by the MTV scene bling-bling crowd...
Those rims are gawd awful! I see so many black Cadillac Escalades with those damn rims around here. It makes me sick. What drives people to buy this
crap? Aaarchhh yechhhh.

When I was down at Pug Performance last weekend they had a 306 hatch on 20s. The chap described it as "offer up the wheels, cut round the edge,
then get the metal bashing guy to knock up some arches to cover them"
Looked truely.... stupid. Never believed it before but yes, wheels really can be too big
I'll try and sneak a photo on the phone next time I'm down there

This is the kind of wheels I see on Hummer H2's(slammed) with 120db"s of bowel moving hip hop bass and something about the rappers
"BEEOTCH"........
Nobody with a fast car has this kind of wheels over here...only the "drive it like ya stole it" bling bling crowd....Oh,and maybe Jerry
Springer...
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal labotomy...

I eventually got some tyres for the sodding wheels, Michelins at a mere 270+VAT EACH!!!,
now the trye fitter does not think he can fit them without damaging the nice chrome rims.
I am REALLY STARTING TO HATE THESE WHEELS!!
Next thing is that the wheel bolts are not long enough to give more than 32 turns, the owner expects the insurance company to pay for replacements,
their reply was quote 'You will not be insured to drive the car until correct bolts have been fitted at your expense' That means we will
have to trailor the car back to him, and it is too low to drive on! - he has done 5000 miles with bolts only just caught on the threads (SVA seems a
good idea for others, not just us!)

Try Speed Shack (.co.uk) for the wheel nuts/bolts. Steve has all sorts of wierd and wonderful mix and match stuff. He managed to find me a set of 16
bolts with Pug thread, Ford domed heads, and 20mm longer than normal - and off the shelf while I waited!
