Even Hafords do 5 metres 7 core for a meerkat --- ie slightly less than a tenner.

Two lengths of 7 core give 14 cores. Whether this is good enough depends on the job, but if it's being used to avoid making a loom it might be ok.

Otherwise as said VWP sell 13 way (one of which is a high current core) for £6.50 a meter (rather more expensive than running 2 lengths of 7 core)

They only do up to 1.5mm sq per cable but other places do 2.5mm. You can even have 64 core.

Its all black with numbers printed on the black in white to identify the core and can be a bit of a sod to read them.

Its an option

Usual way to do earths is create an earth point at each corner of the chassis + earth 2 points under the scuttle and 2 in the engine bay.

For wiring the rear lights all you need is 5 core 6 if you fit a reverse light or 7 if you want left and right tail lights on a seperate fuse.

If you want multicore cable with 12 or more cores, search for 'Socapex'. It's used in stage lighting.
I don't know if I have any left. How much do you want, length wise?
