Hi,

I want to make flat floor for the avon but am struggling to find good material-
i was thinking of some sort of tough black plastic sheeting? hoping to make it from a single piece or two.

In the past I have used a material used in the sign industry called Foamex - quite strong and light, also available in a range of colours.

The fastest RGB car ever uses ply... and, much to my disgust, it's not even marine-grade. And yes, I did tell the ex-Lola and Lotus designer responsible!

Can't argue that it doesn't work though!
