I recently got myself a 2nd-hand X-BOX, also love the COD type games, but never played one online. Our broadband is not the best (wireless 'cos we are too far from the exhange for ADSL). Not sure if it would work, and if it did I have no idea how to play online anyhow Is it worth it?

It looks like the Midget is winning at the moment......

I find Online with these games there are too many 10 year olds, that shouldn't even have the game BTW, that have obviously spent their entire life playing it and can pick you off in a blink of the eye. Oh and ofcourse if you do get a lucky shot you end up getting a mouthful of abuse for killing them. I do like playing them but it gets so old getting killed every 10 seconds, maybe I'm just not good enough

Got ours from tesco for £25 when purchased with 2100 microsoft points (£17.50) after midnight last night. Seems to play ok, I've purchased the noob tube for me M16 so I'm happy

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

My answer to this is "Sorry I'm not as good as you, but I get laid"
or "shh, adults are talking" is even better when they're obviously adults

Whilst the little kids will have you beaten on aiming, you can beat them on tactics.

On TDM, don't go running off like a headless chicken (like everyone else) or you will get minced.

The idea of the game is to cover your back. This isn't helped by the respawn nature of the game and more often than not you can have an enemy spawn about 10m behind you and shoot you to pieces.

So stick to the edges of the map, if you run in the middle, you are cannon fodder. Oh, and look up - people wll nearly always be poking out of a 1st floor building window.

Use a supressor on your gun (no show on map) and use ghost so spy planes wont see you. DO NOT OPEN FIRE UNLESS YOU ARE AT LEAST 80% SURE OF HITTING THE PERSON as you will give your psoition away and the bloke that has just respawned to your left will turn you into Swiss cheese!!

The only other thing to mention is that lag (i'm on crazy 50Mb fibre so always have good connection) and the dire hitboxes are the bane of this game. Not since COD4 have the hitboxes been any good, so you just have to live with it. If you know you shot someone, only to see your deathcam show you with the accuracy of the average American during Vietnam (50,000 rounds per kill), quit the game and join a new lobby.
