Hello all,
I'm after buying a good quality drill vice, I have a machine mart one and it's hopeless and very poor quality

Any ideas?

Cheers
David

I would be inclined to buy a nice old one off Ebay.

Hi David,

Cromwell Tools are worth a look for this sort of thing. I think there's one in Southampton, if not there's Basingstoke.

Have you finished the FWD BEC mini project yet?

I'd second Cromwell Tools; they are proper Engineers merchants, not a shed shop and they don't sell rubbish. They also do mail order now so not a problem wherever you happen to be in the country.

Thanks everyone, Cromwell Tools looks good so I have ordered what I need from them.

Hello Nick,
I sold it on, I had too many projects, so I have been downsizing. I now have one project mini with a bike engine in the rear

What did you decide on project wise?

Cheers

Hi David,

Any pics of your current project - I was quite taken with the FWD BEC mini and the cage work you'd done.

I started collecting parts and designing a RWD 205, but bewteen the "current climate", family and work I've not really pursued it other than much thought and some sketching. I'm currently working on some plans for box cart to enter a local fun event in the summer.
