in the tank fuel pump
how does an oem fuel pump do away with a swirl pot ?
most cars have flatter tanks than the typical 7, yet there seems to be no swirl pot ?
I'd love to give my imaginary friend a great big hug,
but this jacket makes it impossible.

some have internal swirl pots or the pump has a sort of swirl pot that is part of the unit

some also sit in a sump pressed into the bottom of the tank.
