Hi does anyone have any engine mounts or an oil cooler kit that will fit a ford pinto engine? Many thanks

Is the Pinto fitting 3/4UNF?

I do not have one to hand but I am purchasing a kit for my CVH at present.

Getting a oil sandwich plate with a stat, 13 row oil cooler, oil pipe fittings and 2 metres of tube for £103.65

Here is breakdown

1 x Oil cooler sandwich plate with stat (3/4unf) @ 42.95
1 x 13 row oil cooler @ 27.00
1 x pair 1/2" female connectors for oil cooler (ebay 330492294320) @ 4.95 pair
1 x pair 1/2" male connectors for sandwich plate (ebay 330624861990) @ 5.95 pair
2 x mtrs 1/2 hose (ebay 370475024443) @ 6.50/mtr = 13.00
4 x hose clips for hose @ 0.95 each = 3.80

Oil pipe can be pushed on to connectors and tightened with jubilee clips above.

*Carriage 3-5 day @ 6.00

If you look at the ebay items you will see who.

Not sure if it is what you are after.

Adrian

Why do I have to make the tools to finish the job? More time then money.

Hi Adrian,

Thanks very much for your reply. Yes I have seen that on ebay. Looks great but a bit pricey for a poor student! I was wondering if anyone had anything second hand for a bit cheaper.

Thanks all the same though!

From bitter experience
Don't scrimp on the pipe clips
At a minimum us Mikalor clips the ones with bolts to tighten, I had a standard jubilee clip slip off at speed lost all oil pressure at 80+ mph, by the time I switched off virtually no oil left and the mess took weeks to clear up.
Now have pipes with swaged fittings

I breath to pi55 my ex wife off (and now my ex partner)
