any one help with rear lights

i have a set of these fitted to my car

Rear Light/lamps BLACK Pods Kit Car Caterham/DAX/Seven/Locost/Westfield/fury

but the connector are straight at the back and are very close to the tyre, i know it wont end well after a few miles i can see them getting damaged

anyone know where i can get something like but with 90 degree connectors on the back, ive looked about abit online but most dont show you the rear of the fittings

thanks

Can you not dismantle them and rewire so its just a cable coming out the back with a connector further along the cable?

Have you thought about making a small cover from glass fibre and mounting it to cover the wires. Use a piece of blue foam for a mould. This is the method I used.

I've always used these guys for anything electrical : ECS Linky
(though they have managed to stuff up their website tonight)

If you manage to find it cheaper somewhere else, they've price matched too.

Spade connectors and then fill the cavity with sikoflex, that's how I did mine.

Cheers
