Stripes spacing... Opinions needed

Got the stripes for the kit today, and now unsure about spacing... Few options below, suggestions welcome


30mm gap


50mm gap (equal to width of stripes)


100mm gap

I'd go with the first one.

I'm sure there's some design reason for having the gap slightly narrower than the stripes but I couldn't say where or when I saw/heard it.

Correct its called phi 1.62 probably why 30 mm looks correct for 50mm stripe

My thoughts too, the "Golden Ratio" as it's also known. A common design tool to make things look right and often work right.

Move the stripes off the centre line go for the asymmetric look.

Either the Golden Third (1st photo), or go with BT and off centre, but still with the 30mm spacing !

I voted 30 mm but think narrow stripes are better offset - wide stripes better central so as you have narrow stripes offset them.
