Cheers guys

I would say its a very good price, once you total up the price for the engine setup, diff and rollcage your almost at the same price as I am asking for the full car!!

I don't think your asking enough money!

I go with more and if you don't get a buyer then reduce!

Haha, its a fair price (well cheap if you compare it to building one to this spec!) I have put the price I am happy to sell for, Im not here to make money etc.

As someone has just messaged me after finding the old advert from the last owner, yes the price is more than I paid but I have basically rebuilt the car and with no disrespect to him for the great car he built I needed to make changes and redo some points to make the car better for me. The car was more built to look nice and go well, but I wanted a more reliable car and faster car when driven hard so make a lot of changes;

I replaced the engine for a better condition item and added a metal headgasket and some ACL bearings while it was on the bench.
A new turbo and extra boost were the main addition along with new fuel maps via a PowerFC controller.

It can run actuator pressure of 9psi or is tuned for upto 1.7 bar I think (I run a max of 1.3bar on the road as never needed to go higher so far). 1.7 bar of boost will see approx 400bhp and appox 360lb/ft

A cage has been added
A 7.5" diff, shafts including a Trans-X 2way plated diff (old diff was the main let down of the orginal car)

A new cooling system was added

car was rewired for new MOT rules and simplified
Added Hydro handbrake
New cutoffs, plumbed in fire extinguisher
Better injectors
New steering wheel
More steering lock
Adjusted some bushes
Ride height adjustment
Splitter and flat bottom to engine bay
etc etc the list goes on of what I have added and how much better the car is to drive

You shouldn't have to justify your price to anyone that knew the price you paid for it; irrelevant IMO.

Off topic, where did you get the cage please?

You know how people can be, they dont like to pay more than the next person but a quick scan of the two adverts would have shown some expensive extras added, and a very different car. I am happy to justify it, as its cost me a lot more than I am asking, and is now a serious amount faster.

The Rollcage is custom made by a friend of mine who builds rollcages for race cars (well he did until a few weeks ago but might still do it if someone wanted one, but they are not cheap). Its over engineered for regs, but I wanted safety and it to look right on the car with the larger tubing
