Blyton park track day march 15th

Am booking onto this for a first outing in the Mk, will anyone else be there or does anyone fancy it?

Be good to meet some people and see a few cars on track.

Dan

Without going to far OT, what is Blyton like, are the facilities reasonable?

Also, does it have fuel near by?

Blyton is a fun little track. First time i booked it i thought "aaah i'll just try it the once as it looks a bit boring from the aerial view" but once youve done a few laps, and seen what its like it really is a nice track to thrash around. Takes a few sessions to start mastering the correct lines

Facilities wise, there is a Cafe, and plenty of seating. You cant see the track from the cafe though, and if you want to watch the cars going round there is a little mound near the entrance/exit to the track. when the crops have been cut you can see most of the track, but when crops are fully grown you can see about 1/2 the track.

Fuel wise, really its Scunthorpe as your main fueling/supplies place. I take my car down on a trailer with a full tank, and 2x full 20ltr jerry cans, and ive never run out of fuel. normally return home with 3/4 of a jerry can left.

As above really, its a great little track well organised, showers, food just no fuel, there is fuel at Gainsborough about 10 mins away, if you go once you will be back, a little gem.

There are 2 petrol stations in Gainsborough (4 miles away) both of which sell super unleaded took if that's what you need.

There is a small petrol station in corringham if you fall shirt it's bit cheap but better than no fuel. 1 mile away.

If you come from Lincoln then get fuel before you head up the a15

From hull there is little options on route unless you take a detor into scunny and go to morrisons.

From Doncaster on the m180 there is tesco up the m181 which you will pass.

From gainsborough the tesco petrol station ain't that cheap but it is better than the local one in corringham.

Thanks
