Recommend a quality carbon fibre wrap material supplier
I need to wrap a instrument console with all flat edges, basically the shape and size of the sides of a square biscuit tin. Can anyone point me in
the direction of a quality wrap? About 1m x 1m.

I haven't done wrapping myself, but as far as I can see, everyone recommends 3M, and for that size its a no brainer.

I've only had one go and foolishly bought the cheap crap off ebay - basically just carbon look sticky back plastic so doesn't stretch much
or shrink at all so impossible to fit to curves. I gave up and didn't try the better stuff so can only say don't be tempted by the cheap
stuff!

As above, the cheap stuff doesn't go round corners, 3M is the preferred option. I managed to do a bike fuel tank with the cheap stuff and it was
a horrific nightmare that took several days and a whole lot of swearing. By the end of it I wished I had spent the extra on the good stuff.

I've used 3M carbon effect to do a bonnet and while it took me and the missis ages (applying, peeling back, re-applying, so on), the end results
weren't that bad..

Ditto - never done it, but 3M seems to be the recommended brand on here.

About £100 per wheel, plus whatever is needed to make it robust (EG primer underneath and clearcoat on top). I've been tempted to try it at home,
but as with everything you see in youtube the reality is probably a thousand times harder than what it looks like.
