Bodywork glue in a shop?

I am planning to take full advantage of Fathers Day to get the bodywork on my car. I had planned to get some Sikaflex from Amazon, but I have left it too late to guarantee weekend delivery.

Does anyone know whether a DIY shop or similar might sell it? I can see Tigerseal is available from Eurocarparts;

Is this the right stuff for bodywork bonding? Of course it does help that it's actually cheaper than Sikaflex, but will I regret going for Tigerseal?

also heard good things about this (used a lot on camper conversions for sealing holes in roofs for vents etc. and theres different colours.

Hmm, I ignored that Sikaflex because it said sealant, whereas in the description it's an adhesive. I should have looked closer. That CT1 stuff didn't come up at all, I must be searching for the wrong thing. I've also heard good things about CT1 but couldn't find it anywhere.

Never had an issue with Tigerseal... unless you want to separate whatever its been used on later.

My front wings are only held on with Tiger Seal.

Honestly can't remember what the black goo was I used on my MK Indy bodywork.

HOWEVER...

I can tell you none of the panels (Ally internal / GRP outer) were simply bonded on. All were rivetted on, some using large head rivets to avoid cracking the GRP. The front cycle wings were bonded to the cycle wing brackets and extra secured with dome button head fixings tapped into the cycle wing brackets.

Work methodically and most of the rivets can be hidden out of sight.

Aye, the metalwork is being attached to the bottom edge of the bodywork and hiding some mechanical fixing would be no issue. I do need to pick up some large head rivets, but I'll get it glued first then do the belt and braces stuff after that.

Notice you're building a non 7 style car so the bodywork fitting will be different. Whatever method(s) you chose, I hope it goes well (and you have a good weekend
