Finished Dash
Hi
Just finished my dashboard off, and I'm quite pleased with the results, hopefully Mr SVA will be too.

Thats the ECU for my Efi Pinto
The line along the passenger side, is where the fusebox is. it's hinged so drop down into the footwell.

Looks great! but for SVA you will have to block in the ECU etc. The reg for sharp areas under dash is any area forward of the horizontal projection of
the bottom of the dash (ignoring the area behind the wheel) so all that area around the ECU has to be SVA friendly. Mine failed 1st time for bolts
projecting thru the scuttle just below the lower line of the dash.

Thanks Alan, I was considering doing that just for asthetics, but I will definately enclose that area as well. The other side is open too (drivers
side), do you think I will need to enclose that too?

Thought they also wanted a full circle diameter steering wheel, or has it been changed ?

Rob,
I think that when they say full circle, they mean without breaks, ie you can't use an aircraft type thing. (does that make sense?)
If they mean circular, I can't use the Allegro one I've got in the garage

I was more concerned with the box of rubber gloves in the footwell - but what a man does in the privacy of his own garage is his concern alone

Definately enclose it all, you need to be able to take off quickly if you need to get to the wiring so hold it in place with a couple of self
tappers.
A couple of panels covered in the same vinyl would look nice.
