bear in mind that the rear arches are only the outer lips, not the full locost style arch.

would be alright if you were planning on RH style rear arches, though i can't think why you would

just thought i'd mention it before someone dives in, as the picture isn't exactly clear.

When he said that the picture wasn't clear i don't think he was talking about the quality but rather the angle of the rear wings doesn't show that they are only about 2" wide.
Never understood why RH did this, they really do look crap.

Hood did this cause they recon the steel cost less than a whole wing made in glass........

I've bought them...

Might use the rear bits / might not.
I'm aiming for ally bodywork buffed to a sort dull scotchbrite finish. Reckon ally wings with these lips might look quite cool actually. The rest of the bits should suit me fine....
(famous last words)

Are you picking them up Zil.

They are in Knaresborough, I was there last Thursday after I picked some dampers up from Coose. It's quite picturesque but Mother Shipton's cave doesn't open till 1st of March. The Nidd Gorge viaduct looks good from the castle ruins though.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

He has agreed to send them to me Pete. wings bubble wrapped and stuck inside the nosecone and the whole lot bubble wrapped and boxed. I 'think' they shoulkd make it.

Zil,
There was a car on the ozclubbies site not long ago, with the rear wings done like you are thinking.

Didn't look bad either, to my eye at least. Polished ali with the coloured edge. Nice.

The added bonus is that you end up with wings the exact width you need. I'll tuck that one away for the next car.

Syd.

Well Syd

I don't think there is a single person on here who wouldn't have full ally bodywork if they could - especially the nosecone.
I reckon the wings will work.
Cue Homer Simpson mode -
Mmmmm, Aluminum.....
