My Interior

Thought I'd show the fruits of my hard work. May not be up to some peoples standards (and it's obvious where I got particular inspiration from!) but I'm quite pleased with it

Hoping to get it finished by the end of April, then on the road for the summer.

Is there anything in particular Mr SVA man might not like? I'm starting to get sleepless nights - won't be long till the nightmare starts!

Looking good!

You might have to put a different steering wheel on for SVA or fit a pad (all import Miata's come with these)

Just being picky - why are the main clocks off centre?

Is it an optical illusion, or is the steering wheel set quite high?
Took me ages to decide on position of mine, I sat for half an hour holding wheel to find most comfy position. Could be very tiring on a run.

Thanks for the positive comments...

Dials are offset so I can see both of them clearly. I know it doesn't look as good, but thought practicallity made more sense.

Steering wheel is unfortunatley high on all Avons. It's as low as possible without moving the bracket - havn't got a welder and can't weld I think it also looks higher than it is as the scuttle is quite low on the Avon - It's the same hight as a mates Tiger CAT, which doesn't look half as bad.

I've bought a pad for the wheel - it'll be glued on prior to SVA.

The swteering wheel is well high!! So he must be a tall boy ... or the bulkhead is very low. I had to raise my staeering wheel up but not as high as that!! (stil had room behind it for three 50 mm guages)

Looks really good Tim.

I particularly like the tunnel cover with the stitching and the way you've done gearstick gaiter. Nice one!

Cheers,
James
