250hp lazyboy
Finally finished my almost book seats. lots of lumbar support good thigh support. Latteral support is ok but nothing like a good set of fiberglass
seats.
Also waterproof pretty much (marine vinyle and will take 6 point harnesses.
Not quite lazyboy comfort but not far from it.
Total cost around 35 pounds and weighs in at 11 kilo.
Hopefully they look vintage enough.

Looks like you've made a great job of them but I hope you don't mind me saying, the seating position looks rather high for a seven style
car.

Have to agree, bearing in mind the SVA requirement of top harness mountings in relation to seat base measurement.

Just noticed the wheel is on the wrong side so I'm guessing SVA don't apply. Both feet, as usual.

They are cushie so you sink into the firmer foam in the lower part so you still sit low.

Over here it won't matter how soft they are as they lay a pad onto the seat surface then measure from that, they don't compress the pad at
all, not fair seeing as a body would compress it anyway

Re the sva- although its not required here- this car is a 72 mgb on crack. I still am trying to follow the safety features from the sva as most are
a good idea.
