Book built Locost

1st time SVA pass at Nottingham today!

I had to change 2 nuts on the handbrake linkage for nylocs, but other than that, sailed through.

Only downer was that I covered the car on the trailer, and the cover left an interesting new finish on every panel. I believe the term is scratched to buggery.

Still, I'm not bothered, just means a lot of polishing.

Main thing is, IT PASSED.

Tester said it was better built than most Caterhams he tests.

Hopefully get it registered and on the road before the weekend.

5 years 11 months after buying my donor. Suppose I'll have to start another one now.

Thanks to everyone for their help, especially the Northants group, and particularly Paulf.

Cheers, having a beer now.

David

Well done David. I suppose that this means that I shall have to start building proper on mine now.?!

Well done mate.

Lovely looking car... I would say that though as the bodywork looks just like mine!

Cheers,
James
