NEW YEARS DAY @ BROOKLANDS MUSEUM

Brooklands museum Weybridge Surrrey.

New years day car club meeting,allways nice to get some fresh air on the 1st

Tim, could you take some nice pics on the beach please... i think you know the ones i like sunsets sunrise that sort of thing.

Brooklands i hope!! Brazil is a bit hot for me and the Pyrenees are too high

Rob in Google maps, type in KT13 0QN, that is the postcode for the museum.

Scroll south and slightly to the east and you will find the junction off Painshill (A3). It is quite straightforward from there.
There are quite a few planes at the museum as British Areospace used to be there, and loads of developments during the war. Bouncing bomb et al. Also we have a Concorde there

Hence why you saw the planes on t'ground.

It is signposted from the A3 Painshill very well (Painshill junction being the one after the M25 Wisley junction, coming up from t'south).

Lets hope for a dry and not too windy day....

rob if you zoom out a on bit you can see the remains of the track as a faded pear shaped oval. MJA.
