Transformers Film error

cracking film sort of, too much comedy and the action was too fast so you couldn't have a good look at the robots

there is an error though.

when bumblebee breaks down, mikaela(sp) looks under the hood and says
"nice headers and you have a high rise double pump carb" when clearly the engine has 8 throttle bodies and fuel injection, also no air filters

However this scene will surely not be remembered for the error. People who have seen it will understand.

No kidding! I took my Son to see the film yesterday. My wife thanked me for taking him along and sacrificing my afternoon... I assured her it was my pleasure!

She was not what I would officially class as a Munter...

She was, however, a tiny bit young!

Either way, I was there with my missus, and she whispered to me "I can't stop staring at her boobs and ass"! I whispered back "stop talking to me right now..."

Have to say all I saw was some shiny bits and then the rather tasty lady leaning over it all! Oh, and being 23, makes her just lovely in my book! Just don't tell the wife.

crap, on second looks they may not be throttle bodies, are they dcoe's or something on a crossram type manifold like this

http://www.mooneyesusa.com/catalog/images/web19030_015.jpg

she does say "you have a high rise double pump carb" though which implies a single carb setup unlike the multiple one shown.

if were picking faults, then why the overdub of a 4 cylinder bike engine when it was a v-twin aprilia. still a great film though

I think double pump is americanese for twin choke, hence Webers are double pump carbs.

A mistake like that really demands a spanking (Megan-whatsherface, not you liam)

Mind you, can't say i'd noticed it either, wasn't really paying much attention to words at the time...

I've been listening to the radio this afternoon and they were on about this film. Their conclusion was it's aimed at people who like fast cars, people who like big breasted women and big breasted women who like fast cars. I may have to go and see it

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
