Locost GTS - De Dion axled Sierra Doner

Hi all,

I'm expecting to be able to launch my Locost GTS kit at the Exeter show. It will feature a De Dion axle and increased clearance under the bodywork for the tall Pinto engine. The chassis is also modified in a few areas to tidy it up and help with meeting SVA regulations.

The demo car is at rolling chassis stage and we hope to have it powder coated and some bodywork issues resolved for the Exter show in November. Looking to SVA the demo car in early Jan.

The car will be available as a set of plans, or a complete kit to keep it as true to the book as possible.

Kind regards,
Darren

Sounds interesting, looking forward to seeing it! I might then actually know what a DeDion setup looks like!

What date is Exeter btw?

Thanks,
James

Hi all,

The car will be on my stand which is M18 on the 15th and 16th.

It'll be a rolling powder coated chassis, with bodywork.

Kind regards,
Darren

I'd be bring things that are unique to GTS, that aren't fitted to the demo car, seats mirrors and the like.

All the best Dan.

Hi Mike,

I haven't uploaded that info as yet. Is all in the post held up in postal strikes.

I might if i'm lucky get the pics back over the weekend.

Any one buying from me at Exeter needs to know that i can't except credit cards offline at the moment. So if you want to purchase something i will need cash or for you to buy it online and collect it at the show.

Kind regards,
Darren

We will be selling the inserts for the uprights. I haven't got a price yet, but, on all the other parts so far we are undercutting MK by a good margin, so i hope this will be true of these parts too.

Kind regards,
Darren
