Kart steering wheel...?

Is anybody using go-kart steering wheel, something like this maybe...?

I think they may be a little weak around the middle for a car, probably depends on the quality.

Hi as said above they just dont have enough strength for the weight of a car. Trust me it's been tried. Although i have no idea if it will actually pass an sva or not. It certainly did not last long on a race car.

My car has one and I've had no problems in the 2 years I've had it so far, even with a quick rack...

No sign of any stress, and of course it's all fastened together with 8.8 bolts which are taking the sheer load.

I can see no issues using a kart steering wheel. The karts I've raced have been much harder on the wheel than either of my race cars.

Even in some of the big off's I've had the worst I've done to the wheel was bend it slightly.

Karters use the wheel to brace themselves under braking, in a car your harness holds you in place.

nitram, what make is yours and where from, looks good..?

Also are all kart wheels the same size? sva not a problem as it will be for track use.
