Wheel arches look a little too angled back, you need 30 degrees forward from vertical. Might be the camera angle but worth checking.

Side repeaters on skuttle will likely fail on 5 degree viewing angle from rear as rear arches will obscure them.

You will need a rear view mirror in the centre.

Is the rear fog absolutely vertical, it needs to be.

Front indicators need to be min 400 from widest part of car so will need extension arms.

Worth reading the manual again!

From cycle wings don't look to come forward enough. Also although hard to see in those pics do your front inductors cone out wide enough?

Looks nice.

Few things worth checking..
Check the requirements for the position of the front arches. Think they have to extend far enough forward to be ahead of the formost rim when viewed from above. I could be wrong as that doesn't apply to my car.

Your side repeaters will fail the angles of visability test as the rear wings will obscure them. Fitting on either the front or rear arches seems to be the way to go. Do a search to see what others have done.

Are your harnesses sloping up from the rear mounts to the holes in the seats? If so they'll fail as it makes the seat "structural". Extending the illars they mount on so they're level or sloping down will cure (even though it'll be poor engineering and temprary)

Are all your required labels on? Brake fluid, balance bar, manufacturers plate (check required info as some have failed for not enough or too much)...

i will adjust my front arches tomorrow but i have seen a few with similar repeaters in the same place pass the iva..

the front indicators are spaced above minimum distance apart as per iva manual..

many thanks for the comments.. I am making a 'to do' list as we speak..

They may have passed SVA but IVA changed a few things and im pretty sure you will fail on those side repeaters.

Front indicators may have sufficient space between the but they must also be 400mm max from edge, yours are closer to 500mm.

*POST HIJACK ALERT*

For your rear fog and reverse lights, what plinths are you using to make them vertical?!?
Aside from that, looks cracking!

2. An interior mirror must be fitted, (see note 3)
3. The vehicle must have an nearside exterior mirror fitted (if the interior rear view mirror gives no view to the rear or the rear window is less than 70% light transmittance) (see note 3 & 5)

Note 3: The interior mirror must be positioned as far as is practical to afford the best possible view to the rear, if the interior rear-view mirror does not provide any rearward vision its presence shall not be required.

Things we can't see are the emissions, noise, brake bias, reverse

Have you got these sorted?

..

They checked my belts with a spirit-level. They had to not touch the bottom edge of the holes when the belt was horizontal.

i have moved arches round a bit and look fine with the angles in the IVA bible..

seatbelts are now level with the seat holes..

going to pop into VOSA and have a chat as its only 2 minutes away about the indicators..

Noise wise its well quite for what i expected it to be and there is no visable emsissions but going to test that this evening..

rear view interior mirror fitted.

reverse works fine and light works when the button is pressed..

thanks to Rene for the pics and info on replacement side repeaters

When is the test booked for? Don't leave sorting the emissions till the last minute, if the engine is post 1995 it will
have a CAT test.

I have only paid for my test this week so i expect within the next four weeks although i did select the asap box..

does anyone know about the seatbelt extensions for where the bolt mounts to the top bar of the chassis.. has anyone had an issue with an inspector over the height?

many thanks Lads..

Whats the radius like on the bottom edge of side and rear panels?

I had to stick 'tadpole' type edging onto the bottom edge of mine for IVA

Just popped round to Vosa to get my test date.. booked in for the 30th of may...

Caterham was there so had a chat and look round...They don't put anything round the lower edge and it has a similar 90 degree bend on the lower edge as mine does but i believe they have a different test to amateur builders as its a vehicle produced in small volume.. Hence why their front indicators don't sit within 40cm of the outside edge etc..

More worrying was the inspector looking over my bike parked as its got more bolt on goodies than Crescent can supply but its got an M.O.T so NERR in your face Mr inspector!!!

Well excited now and thanks to all those that had their say on my pics as i have done all the mods recommended by these posts...
