I bought a collection of RV8 parts some time ago for not much money. It's from an early CKD I think. I'm almost positive there is a good
condition pump in there, but I'll have to check. Can you find a picture of what it looks like?

120pound? that was cheap...but i guess it wasnt for an automatic?
anyway...the radiator will be for a SD1, as its an unmolested car i want to keep it original, so an alternative radiator isnt what i search.

do you need the pully below the pump too?
where are you in the country? I am in New Malden SW London
I don't need the whole engine anymore, it as far as I was told when I bought it years a go is a 3.9, from a auto rangerover. doesn't look
that nice in the rocker covers. I bought it for a couple hundered quid to use as a sizing exercise, ended up buying a car with a v8 already in as it
was too much monocoque changing to squeeze one in. (no inlet stuff, already passed that on)
I haven't looked into how much any of this stuff is worth, so you could get me on a not fussed day, so make me an offer

hi, the umpo needs to have exact the same long shaft with a thread on the end as in my picture.
your pictures only show the inside of the pump.

i'll see if I can take the pully off tomorrow so you can see what hides within, but I guess it doesn't match then as the thread on the
outside of the pulley where I figured the fan might go (it had a rubber cap on it for in the range rover) it pretty wide.

yep...the ebay pump is the same model.....but the seller states "no overseas" bidders...so i´m out.
by the way: range rover or 3.9l pumps arent the same!!! they fit, but they have a different shaft-end where the fan sits, so not useable in a SD1

Thanks for the education I have never got my head round the different fronts to the engines.
Try messaging the seller, you never know.
Good luck with your hunt.

the basic layout is roughly always the same....which makes it easy when searching such a pump for a rover v8 in a kitcar, as here you dont have to
take care about viscous fan etc.
but when it comes to such a pump in a production-car...things become more complex.

well mine is definitely wrong for what you are after
thanks for the reading, the kit car I bought with a v8 already in it has the water pump area blacked off and a electric water pump instead, due to
space restrictions, so I never got round to learning about the different options.
cheers
