FS Personal Reg Plate JVL xY

Would anybody be interested in a personal registration plate JVL xY where x is a single digit number???

A work colleague is looking to put another plate on their car so this one will be coming available.

might be interested for the right price. Y reg is same as my land rover and the shorter number means a smaller and lighter plate.

LOL no, I haven't lost the plot; a shorter number plate means I would be able to fit a rectangular one to the front bumper in the space between the nato tow hook and recovery pintle. At the moment I have a square plate which overhangs the bumper so is likelly to be snapped off - I did weld some angle to the bumper to give it support from behind.

mine use to be stickers on a white background on the front of the wing, but they were Series types, but the 90's lights got in the way after that.

Ok Mr McCleverClogs, tell me how I fit the number plate to the front of the wing!

(you can just about see the number plate nto the left of the nato tow hitch - the big red hooky type thing.

Yours is a lightweight and will already be on a re-registered plate as it was probably on an army registration. I would check with DVLA whether you can register it on a cherished plate. My friend has one on a W plate but it is road tax exempt as it was registered pre 1971 in it's army life.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Peteff. You are correct. Its Y registration comes about from when it was registered on the road after being released from the MOD although it was made in 1975, about P/R reg? so not tax exempt.
