radiator fan for polo rad

anyone got a radiator fan in good nick for a polo rad, preferably a pusher

I think that mine is a citroen bx gti rad fan which is a pusher, and a bloody good fit for the polo rad in my opinion.

This may help if you want to go scrapyarding..........

It is a BX one I have one fitted to my car it came off a diesel BX which has two of them they are push fans and seem to have a good output.

Yes, that's a BX fan. all the XU engined BX's have such a fan (1.6, 1,9 and diesels). Good luck trying to find one in a scrapyard though! The last ones were made in 1993........

I used one off a Honda motorbike. Nice and lightweight. Only issue is the outer ring is metal and if you don't secure it well in place the outer ring can distort and then the blades rub. But if you mount it properly it's excellent. Light and powerful. Does the job for me.

But....its not a perfect fit......

......to be a perfect fit it would have to be RECTANGULAR !!

Its impossible to have a rectangular fan.

You could use 2 smaller fans to cover the surface of the rad.

I used the Sierra CVH one on mine. Works fine with my Zetec.
