Best place for laptop batterys ?
My Acer only last between 20-30 mins on a full charge, so i should really get a new one
Who is the best supplier ??

just got a battery for my IBM off ebay - not genuine IBM but of these china jobbies I think although it seemed to e a UK seller.
I went for the highest mAH rating I could find and it now lasts all afternoon instead of about 20 mins. cost about £29 by the way

What model of acer ? I have a couple of 14.8 volt Acer Travelmate 27000 Batteries BATELW80L8H ---- at least one of which should be good
alternatively you can find loads on ebay from China they take a while to arrive but are OK quality.

I did the same and with the new one it was lasting a few hours, however after 6 months the chinese battery now only lasts about 40 minutes on my
thinkpad - still better than the old battery which managed about 5 minutes. How long have you had yours?

Thanks BT, but my Acer is a 19v battery, so will have a look on the old fleabay
My acer charger is a 19v one, but the battery is 11.1, there lies the possible problem ??
