Locost £3300 ONO
I’m selling my Car to help fund a new project. The car is a locost which I bought from a guy off this forum beginning of last year, built and finished
and SVA’d in June 2000. The build was based on Ron Champions original book, and it has been allocated an age related plate.
The car has 11months M.OT. and 3 months tax.
• 1600 c.c. GT Cross Flow Engine pulls like a train, Stainless Steel back box.
•Sports narrow Seats
• AVO Shock Absorbers
• 4 point harnesses
acwell Digital dash waiting to be fitted
Numerous spares included
Not so Good Bits
The engine is a bit Smokey suffers a little from oil coming up the breather; I had planned to add a catch tank to resolve this.
Bonnet is a bit scratched
Roll bar could do with paint.
I will include the following if I get the asking price ZX10 engine
ZX10B (the late 1980's one)
Engine itself - probably the cleanest old ZX10 engine you'll ever see! s/steel bolts to all the casings etc etc. I was told it's done
about 30,000 miles and All engine numbers present and correct .Carbs and original airbox - carbs have the ZXR750 tops which de restrict the engine to
about 137bhp Also a spare set of carbs used for parts for the above. The sump and oil pickup pipe on the engine is a gpz900r one which fits perfectly
and is much shorter than standard. The standard sump and pickup pipe are there as well though.
There are two water pump covers, one zx10, one zzr1100 which both fit but have the outputs facing in different directions so choose the one that suits
your installation
M/S exhaust headers from the bike ,Full Wiring loom and clocks ZX10 radiator with fan Starter motor and alternator, the alternator is a zzr1100 one
with new crush rubbers ,Prop adaptor Clutch lever and master cylinder with braded stainless steel hose ,New plugs and oil filter still in boxes
,Haynes manual and gear indicator
Looking for a quick sale and I feel that its a fair price for the car
