Im a RWD kind of guy!

Good luck with the sale though.

If you have not already then uphillracers and the usual old ford websites may find you a buyer.

It's not for me sadly, but I do like a mk1 Fiesta (had one as my first car many moons ago).

Still up for sale. Message me if you are interested.

Been busy and not re-advertised since ebay advert.

Ford Fiesta MK1.

Car was originally a 1.3L and was built for Hillclimbing down here in the southwest. Around 10 years ago I decided that I would like more power and fitted a 2.0 Zetec 16v engine.

Fuel Injection with 45 DCOEs used as throttle bodies.

Emerald M3DK engine management.

Approx 175 BHP

Weber Alpha shift lights.

Bespoke stainless steel exhaust manifold.

Gearbox is Mk1 XR2 4 Speed fitted with 4.29:1 final drive and uprated RS Turbo LSD.

Suspension is all spherical jointed. With a 5 link conversion on the rear.

Front struts are Koni with adjustable platforms and 2 ¼” Springs

Rear Shocks are AVO 1.9” coil overs.

It comes with a very light set of alloys and Avon Hillclimb slicks.

Sparco Race seat and 5 point harnesses

Safety Devices full bolt in cage.

XR2 Vented Front Brakes with Green Stuff pads

Loads more I have probably forgotten about.

I also have fiberglass bonnet and boot skins that have never been fitted and a couple of boxes with spares including Driveshafts, Bumpers, dash board and wiring loom if it was required to go back to road use.

The bodywork is not cut about and the Nearside front inner wing is not cut away. Could easily be converted back to Crossflow power. The body is very solid and generally in good condition but not mint. Has a few small marks from being used as a race car, but not much.

A little update as I have had a few questions

I have had the car since 20/5/1997

It was last used on the road in 2002 and is currently on SORN

It has been kept garaged since I first built it in 1997.

It is MSA log booked and I have the V5

A great fun car to drive
