Blade oil pick up pipe.
Anyone got any ideas as to how to clean the pieces of bearing out of my oil strainer, in the pick up pipe? Most of the bits luckily got stuck here,
but I think I might have to get a new one................you know Honda will need a mask on when they tell me how much they are!
Any ideas before I bin it?

Cant remember if the bearing material is magnetic or not, but if it is and you know where you can get your hands on an old computer hard drive, they
have a bloody strong magnet inside them that might get most of it out.
Failing that, i guess you could try to wash it through from the other end with loads of parafin etc until its clean.

Tried flushing with water, gunk and paraffin! That didn't work.
Am butchering a hard drive right now...........good idea! I'll let you know the outcome. Thanks.
