i have just read about a hand brake that works off 12 Volts????

can any one tell me more and where i can find one and if it is SVA pass able?

the parking brake in my Cmax is electrically operated

I lift a switch and this engages the parkingbrake and you can hear the motors operating

Push it down and it disengages

Also if you forget when you remove the igniton key it applies the handbrake

my mates vw passat has an electric hand break push the button to put it on then again to release or u can just drive off and it will auto relies. (most of the time) just something else to go wrong as fare as i can see.
