I stopped counting when it got expensive! But it could certanly be done for under £1000 for a basic setup if you wasnt bothered how pretty it all
looks!
I made a few bad choices and had a few problems main one was using a second hand turbo then spending most of the summer trying to stop it smoking !
Now replaced with a new one and it hasn't used any oil in 500miles.
P.s I've been watching you car come together, to say I'm impressed would be an understatement! Cant wait to see it finished!

Hi, thanks for the compliments and the info. Looking at certain turbo systems means that because of their position, I would have to alter my chassis
to allow for it.
The other option is a supercharger, but the kits I have seen cost £2700

I'm using a english live axle 3.54 ratio diff which is ok for a bec!
Although I'm changing it to a de-dion over winter with a 3.38 or if I can find one a 3.14diff.

i did the crossflow to bec swap last year. Very easy really.
I identified on the existing wiring the 'running live' and the 'cranking live' under the bonnet, so i didnt have to mess about
under the dash. Then modifed the bike loom to work from just 3 connections, earth and the two lives above. The chassis mods were very easy. Not much
more to it than that!
